Dolphins Level Skills

Goal: To master fundamental swimming skills, develop aquatic competence and independence, and swim longer distances while demonstrating age-appropriate water safety and survival skills.

Enters and exits the pool independently and safely.
Moves confidently and efficiently in different directions in the water.
Floats independently on the back for an appropriate duration.
Floats independently on the front while maintaining body position.
Transitions smoothly between different floating positions.
Performs front and back glides with good body alignment.
Demonstrates effective breathing control while swimming.
Performs basic kicking actions efficiently.
Uses coordinated and organized arm actions.
Combines arms, legs, and breathing into a complete swimming action.
Swims longer distances according to level standards.
Changes direction while swimming and maintains body control.
Retrieves objects from the pool floor at an appropriate depth.
Jumps into the water and independently regains a swimming or floating position.
Swims to a safe point or pool edge when instructed.
Floats or moves in the water long enough to manage simple emergency situations.
Demonstrates independent understanding and application of water safety rules.
Demonstrates confidence, discipline, and cooperation during lessons.

Note: Each child is assessed according to their abilities and disability type. Some skills may be adapted or replaced with safe and suitable alternatives.
